Investa and Charter Hall Join Mingtiandi Australia Forum Speaker Roster
Senior executives from Investa and Charter Hall will be speaking at the upcoming Mingtiandi Australia Forum in Sydney on 15 September.
## Speakers Announced for Mingtiandi Australia Forum The Mingtiandi Australia Forum, taking place in Sydney on 15 September, has announced the addition of senior executives from Investa and Charter Hall to its speaker roster. Peter Menegazzo, chief executive officer at Investa, and Steven Bennett, chief executive of Charter Hall's direct property business, will be participating in spotlight interviews at the event. Peter Menegazzo will be speaking with Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole in a spotlight interview. Investa has been active in the Australian market this year, teaming up with North American giant BGO for a pair of office buys in Sydney and Brisbane, as well as selling 1 Market Street in Sydney to a fund backed by a major Asian institution. Steven Bennett will be discussing Charter Hall's launch of its Direct Life Sciences Fund and the potential for returns from investing in infrastructure for Australia's growing biomedical sector. The Direct Life Sciences Fund is a new initiative from Charter Hall, which aims to provide investors with access to the growing biomedical sector in Australia. ## Pan-Sector Programme The Mingtiandi Australia Forum will feature a full-day programme at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, with speakers from various sectors joining the discussions. In addition to the interviews, the forum will bring together senior leaders from some of Asia Pacific's largest investment managers for a series of panel discussions covering the industry's most compelling strategies and sectors. A commercial strategies panel will bring together senior executives to discuss the office and retail markets in Australia. The panel will be moderated by Alpha Alternatives partner Paul Petersen and will feature speakers from Link Real Estate Partners and Savills Australia. A panel on Asia-Australia capital flows will feature Trent Winduss, head of Australia investments and head of Asia structured debt investments at Phoenix Property Investors, and Stuart McCann, managing director and head of capital advisors, Pacific and Southeast Asia at CBRE. The panel will be moderated by Mingtiandi. ## Living, Hospitality and Industrial The forum will also feature sessions on investment in Australia's build-to-rent sector, student housing and senior living segments, industrial strategies, and hospitality investment. A panel dedicated to investment in Australia's build-to-rent sector will feature speakers from Arch Capital, Pro-Invest Group, and Citco. A panel on strategies for the student housing and senior living segments will feature Anthony Bolger, head of planning and development at Singapore's Centurion Corporation, and Lee Tredwell, senior director and head of Australia and Asia Pacific for Invesco Real Estate. Troy Bryant, founder and co-chief executive of LogiSPACE, and Maria Ariizumi, vice president for development in Southeast Asia and Australasia for Hilton, will also be taking the stage to discuss industrial strategies and hospitality investment. The Mingtiandi Australia Forum is expected to attract more than 200 industry leaders and will be livestreamed globally on the MTD TV video platform.
